'Emerald 'n' Gold' is a dwarf evergreen shrub of spreading habit, with broadly yellow-margined leaves, tinged pink in winter; occasionally produces a few small, inconspicuous greenish flowers

Extremely versatile, Euonymus fortunei may be used as a trailing ground cover, a low hedge, as an edging plant along paths, massed on slopes to control erosion or as a foundation plant. With support, it will climb vigorously and is ideally trained against a shady wall.

Grows up to 1m tall with a spread of 1.2m.

Planting your Euonymus hedge is straightforward. Choose a sunny or light shade spot with well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide and just as deep as the root ball. Place the plant in the hole, backfill with soil, and water thoroughly.

For hedging, space the plants 20cm apart (5 per meter). This will form a dense hedge and a seamless look in your garden.
